Where: Santa Monica beach (1642 Oceanfront Walk, Santa Monica CA) – at the Volleyball court on the south side of the Pier, next to the life guard headquarter.

Last week, Pete Mauro and Joe Zulli organized yet another amazing Lean Startup Circle LA event at the CoLoft in Santa Monica.  This time, the VIP guest speaker was Sean Ellis, with a talk titled “Bringing a Network Effect Business to Market”.

Here is the recorded video – special thanks to Pete and Joe for allowing AsAble.com to share with our viewers:

Here are Sean Ellis’ slides:

Lean Startup Circle LA is a group of high tech entrepreneurs that don’t want to waste time building products or services that nobody wants. The members practice lean start-up and customer development techniques. They meet once per month for speaker events and to network. Visit their website to join the group.

Sean Ellis was the founder and principal at 12in6 Inc., a firm that helps startups transition to high growth companies. They helped first six startups each achieve massively scalable growth (worked with most from early Beta): 1. Uproar (IPO) 2. LogMeIn (IPO) 3. Xobni (Khosla Ventures, FRC) 4. Eventbrite (Sequoia Capital) 5. Dropbox (Sequoia Capital) and 6. Lookout (Khosla Ventures). Sean is currently an advisor at KISSmetrics and Performable.  You should say hi to him on Twitter: @SeanEllis.
